Neem fertilizers are made by crushing the neem leaves, barks, and fruits. It provides micronutrients that help in the growth of a plant. Neem cake can be used as organic fertilizer as well as natural nematicide as it will control soil-based pathogens as well as nematodes. It also inhibits nitrification of the soil and enhances the efficiency of other nitrogen-providing fertilizers like Urea. Neem cakes are biodegradable and safe to use. With its multiple natural features, it is very suitable for soil amendment purposes. The Neem fertilizer contains NPK (nitrogen-phosphorus-potassium) and many other micronutrients so instead of being a nutrient collector it is the nutrient itself for the plant. Due to its slow release, the plant gets nutrients uniformly throughout its growing period. Neem fertilizer increases organic content and improves the fertility of the soil. The crop yield is 15-25% higher when using Neem Cakes than with any other fertilizer.
